Emotions are a major ingredient of human life, giving it meaning and direction. Over the last two decades, the exploration of emotions has emerged as a prolific field of study in neuroscience and psychology. Through brain imagery, physiological data, behavioral observations, and subjective ratings, scientists and clinicians have developed the ability to measure emotions in a rigorous way. This paves the way for us to decipher the spatial and temporal codes of the emotional brain.
Thus, you are cordially invited to join us on September 19 and 20, 2024, at the Société de Psychophysiologie et de Neurosciences Cognitives (SPNC) annual meeting. You will have the opportunity to attend lectures given by internationally recognized experts who will present their work on the cerebral and physiological foundations of affective states and their association with adaptation and pathologies. Post-doctoral researchers and doctoral students are also invited to present their work through oral communications and posters. And, of course, for lovers of the art of living and the beautiful light of the Flanders plains, welcome to Lille.
